Jurjurha Tigress is Mating with Male Tiger at Bandhavgarh National Park

On the 2nd Week of Feb 2009, Jurjurha Tigress (Female of Bandhavgarh National Park) found mating with one of the dominant male tiger named Bhookha at sawari wah (Near Raj Bhera Dam) area in Bandhvgarh National. As if now Jurhura Female has 3 cubs and they are almost 15-18 months old.

Wildlife Conservation Issues & Concern held at The Celebration Van Vilas,Kanha National Park


On 4th Dec 2008 the conference organized on Wildlife Conservation – Issues & Concern held at The Celebration Van Vilas, (Luxury Wildlife Resort) Kanha National Park.

The conference organized by WII (Wildlife Institute of India) represented by Indian Army.

The conference is all about the wildlife conservation, how to save endangered spices like Tiger, Lion, Leopard, Rhinos Etc. the role of Indian Army in saving wildlife,conservation & environment.


The inaugural session of conference started at 1500 hrs followed by An overview of India’s Wilderness Dr. A.J.T. Johnsingh later visit to kanha national park from 1615 to 1800 hr. One hour brief introduction on Kanha Tiger Reserve by filed director
